GI Karate

Karate is a very important and ancient form of combat that has the elements of martial arts and body discipline necessary to make it a form of deadly but very energetic and agile combat. It is a very old form and has evolved into a variety of styles that fit with many elements of other types of combat and therefore reinvent itself with each step. The most important fact is that karate, although a very established and ancient form of combat, still has the flexibility to adapt to make the movements more precise and deadly.

The discipline required for this kind of fighting is legendary, and the first students were monks who practiced the form with serious and resolute discipline. This is still true today. The discipline even extends to the Karate uniform called GI Karate uniform.

This type of kimono, however, is made of rough and resistant material. The lower parts are pulled pajamas that help to provide space and flexibility for air kicks and leg work. There is a belt with the dress that holds the kimono in place. The belt can be adjusted to ensure that the GI fits properly with the fighter plane and that they do not have difficulty adjusting their movements or maneuvering properly.

The GI of the sport is white and made of thick cotton. This makes it extremely important that the shrinkage factor of the fabric is taken into account and that the IG is purchased with the clear idea that the material will eventually be reduced in size.

Therefore, the IG should be at least two sizes larger than the frame really required and once you have purchased it, wash it immediately to start the reduction process. Usually, use detergent and bleach for washing as all the uniform is nevertheless white and with the constant accumulation of sweat and dirt from the fight, it will surely lose its color by repeated washing.

Of course, intense washing of the colored belts should be avoided as it can cause discoloration of the colors and this is very uncomfortable as the color of the belts means the levels or degrees of combat glory that Fighter is capable of doing and that means the belt is the representation of the value of the fighter. Therefore, care must be taken to maintain the Warriors' IG.

There is also the fact that Tokaido karate gi should be kept hanging and not grouped because it destroys the shape of the kimono. After all, GI wear is inevitable, but the responsibility for maintenance depends on the fighter plane.
