Karate Gi

There are many symbols associated with different martial arts and the discipline of Karate is no different. One of the most prominent symbols of Karate is the Karate uniform, also known as GI Karate. The traditional white karate GI first emerged about 100 years ago, and no karate class would be complete without the students wearing the uniform. Of course, these white uniforms may lose their bright white quality if not properly maintained. This means that you need to take some additional steps to ensure that the uniform remains clean, clean and pressed. Here are some tips on how to do this:

First, you really need to make sure that the karate uniform is stored correctly when you are not using it. This means it must be hung in the closet and away from any "wandering damage" that occurs. When the karate uniform is not stored properly, you risk being torn, torn or damaged. Obviously, that's not what I want to happen to GI Karate. Therefore always make sure to store it properly when not in use.

Of course, the karate uniform should be washed thoroughly after use. This means that it must be placed in the washing machine with a strong detergent and a good amount of bleach. This allows the uniform to maintain its white color. However, you should not overdo it with the bleach as this can damage the uniform.

It is also better to wash the karate uniform immediately after arriving home after class. When sweat or dirt is allowed to sink into the Tokaido gi, removing dirt from it can be extremely difficult. When washed immediately after use, the problem of permanent stains is not a problem.

One important thing to know when buying your karate GI is that the first time you wash it, it will shrink. The more cotton the uniform is composed, the more it will shrink. Therefore, it is imperative that you buy a karate GI that is slightly larger than you want. Buy your GI Karate again a little bigger than you need, as it will be reduced.

If during your karate training you tear or crack your GI, just take it to a seamstress and have it sewn. It is important that you do this as soon as you notice the fracture as it will continue to tear if it is not taken care of immediately. His karate belt is also an important piece of uniform, and while not very hygienic, it is usual not to wash it. This will be very evident when you see the black belts you have been studying for years. However, if you need to wash your karate belt, do not use detergent as this will bleach the colors of the belts.

Finally, taking care of a karate IG is not difficult or complicated. It is important that you remember some important steps and basic steps and this allows your GI to remain the bright white it began to be.
